ROCHESTER, NY - The Empire State Yankees today host Day 31 of Baseball Month in Rochester at Frontier Field. The game will be followed by two Section 5 high school championship contests to close out the month. The details for May 31:

Section 5 Class AA High School Championship (Victor vs. McQuaid), 4:30 p.m.

Section 5 Class AAA High School Championship (Penfield vs. Webster), 7:00 p.m.

HOSTED ORGANIZATION IN SUITE: Bivona Child Advocacy Center, which coordinates and provides services and support to meet the needs of child victims of sexual or physical abuse and their families at a single and safe, child-friendly facility

Raffle tickets will be sold through the fifth inning. They are $1 apiece, six for $5, and an arm's length for $10. Winners will be announced at the end of the sixth inning.

Gardner appeared in two games with the Empire State Yankees at Frontier Field from May 8-9 while on a rehabilitation assignment. He is still on the major league disabled list. Roy scored 17 goals and logged 27 assists in 80 games for the Buffalo Sabres in 2011-12. Kaleta, a Buffalo native, scored five goals and registered five assists in 63 games with the Sabres in 2011-12. Teheran, a righthander with the Gwinnett Braves, is the No. 5 prospect in professional baseball according to Baseball America . Ventura enjoyed a 16-year major league career with the White Sox (1989-98), Mets (1999-2001), Yankees (2002-03), and Dodgers (2003-04). He is now in his first season as manager of the White Sox.
