OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium Tuesday night, opening an eight-game homestand, with the first of four games vs. the Sacramento River Cats. That series will be followed by a four-game set vs. the Fresno Grizzlies. These exciting promotions are on tap:
Tuesday, May 8, 6:35 p.m.: It's 2uesday - $22 gets you 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 Cokes and 2 programs! Also, students who completed the Royals inaugural "Hit the Books" program will be able to redeem their bookmarks for two free General Admission tickets to the game!
Wednesday, May 9, 12:05 p.m.: Enjoy baseball and lunch at the 'Blatt, highlighted by ½-price burgers, courtesy of Omaha Steaks!
Thursday, May 10, 6:35 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday and Live Music! Enjoy $1 beer and Cokes during the game, then stick around afterwards for the live music of Bluecymon and drink specials in the Stadium View Club, courtesy of Miller Lite, The Old Bar, 96.1 The Brew and the City Weekly!
Friday, May 11, 7:05 p.m.: Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks follow the Sacramento series finale, also presented by KETV-Channel 7 and NewsRadio 1110 KFAB! Plus, prior to the Royals game tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon Nebraska Wesleyan presents the Student-Athlete of the Game!; one area high school student-athlete will be honored on the field and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch at each game.
Saturday, May 12, 6:05 p.m.: Rosenblatt's gates open at 4:00 p.m. for the Fresno series opener and the 1st 750 kids 12-and-under receive a FREE BASEBALL GLOVE, courtesy of Hebrew National. Spiderman will also be at the game, signing autographs for fans! Plus, a free youth clinic will be conducted by Royals players and coaches beginning at 2:30 p.m. - call 738-5105 for more details on the clinic. The big day and night is brought to you by Hebrew National, WOWT-Channel 6 and 1620 The Zone.
Sunday, May 13, 1:35 p.m.: Bring Mom out on her special day to enjoy Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting, balloon art and kids invited to run the bases after the game, presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, KPTM-Fox 42 and Just for Kids & Families! Plus, all Royals Kids Club members receive a free ticket to the game, courtesy of SUBWAY!
Monday, May 14, 6:35 p.m.: It's Free Money Monday! The 1st 500 fans will receive an envelope containing either cash or prizes, brought to you by Country 97.3 KBLR! Plus, it's another "Hit the Books" game.
