
Barons Unveil Game Schedule for 2015 Season

Birmingham, AL - With the release of the 2015 Southern League schedule, the Barons will look to build on a record-setting two-year span at Regions Field that saw them welcome over 800,000 fans to downtown Birmingham while being named the 2013 Ballpark of the Year by Baseballparks.com.
As in years past, the majority of games will begin at 7:05 p.m. with the exception being weekend and select weekday games. The Barons will continue to play their Saturday night games at 6:30 p.m. while all Sunday games willagain be played at 3:00 p.m.
Returning for the 2015 season will be the "Business Person Special" for select Monday home games during the first half of the season. Monday games in April, May and June will begin at 11:30a.m. allowing fans the opportunity to catch an afternoon baseball matinee during their lunch hour.
Three early-season Wednesday games will feature midday start times: April 22, May 13, and June 3 are all scheduled for first pitch at 11:00 a.m.
For the third year in a row, the Barons will celebrate Independence Day in Birmingham when they take on the Tennessee Smokies at 6:00 p.m. Following the conclusion of the game, fans will have the opportunity to watch the "ËThunder on the Mountain' fireworks show from one of the best venues in the city.
The 2015 home schedule will conclude on Tuesday, September 1, with a 7:05 p.m. contest against the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

A fullpromotional calendar with featured giveaways, entertainers and a date for the 20th Annual Rickwood Classic will be released in early 2015. Allgame times and promotions are subject to change.
