Oklahoma City Barons News Release

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons Clear Day Roster for the remainder of the 2010-11 season and 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs was approved by the American Hockey League, Barons general manager Bill Scott announced today.

The Clear Day Roster is a 22-man list of players who are eligible to play in the remainder of the regular season games and any Calder Cup Playoff games. Only the players on the Clear Day Roster may participate in the Barons remaining 18 regular season games, barring emergency conditions such as injury, call up or suspension. Teams may add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The Barons Clear Day Roster includes: goaltenders Jeff Deslauriers and Martin Gerber; defensemen Bryan Helmer, Kevin Montgomery, Richard Petiot, Jeff Petry, Alex Plante, Jake Taylor and Colten Teubert; forwards Mark Arcobello, Alex Giroux, Teemu Hartikainen, Milan Kytnar, Andrew Lord, Colin McDonald, Brad Moran, Linus Omark, Ryan O'Marra, Ben Ondrus, Greg Stewart, Zack Stortini and Chris Vandevelde.

Defenseman Anthony Aiello and forwards Philippe Cornet and Matt Marquardt are still available to practice with the team, but can only play in games when injury, recall or suspension puts the Barons at 17 skaters or fewer.

The Barons will play four games in a five-night span beginning tonight at home against the Manitoba Moose, AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks at 7:05 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center. Following a road game Thursday in San Antonio, the Barons return home for a two-game set with the Grand Rapids Griffins, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings. Faceoff Friday is 6:05 p.m., while faceoff Saturday is 7:05 p.m.
