Atlanta Calls for Postma

The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled defenseman PAUL POSTMA from the Chicago Wolves.
POSTMA ranks fourth on the Wolves and seventh among American Hockey League defensemen with 30 assists and holds fifth on Chicago and is tied for fourth among league blueliners with 41 points in 64 games this season.
The 22-year-old blueliner was recalled by Atlanta on Feb. 14 but did not appear in any games during his time with the Thrashers before being returned to Chicago on Feb. 18.
The Red Deer, Alberta, native matched a franchise record for most goals by a rookie defenseman and finished third overall among league blueliners with 15 goals in 63 games with the Wolves during his first professional campaign last year. He also held second among team defensemen with 29 points.
The Wolves will host the Peoria Rivermen at the Allstate Arena on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
