Flyers Sign Zolnierczyk

Adirondack Phantoms News Release
The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have signed free agent forward Harry Zolnierczyk (ZOHL-ner-chuk) from Brown University to an entry-level contract that will begin at the start of the 2011-12 season, according to General Manager Paul Holmgren.
He will be joining the Phantoms this week on an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) and will be eligible to make his professional debut. Zolnierczyk will be wearing #24 with the Phantoms.
Zolnierczyk, 23 (9/1/87), recently completed a four-year career at Brown. He was the captain of the Bears in his senior season and was named Ivy League Player of the Year, while also earning ECAC Player of the Week honors twice this season. Over the course of 30 games, Zolnierczyk posted 16 goals and 15 assists for 31 points, which led the team in goals and tied for the team lead in overall scoring.
In 114 career games over his four seasons at Brown, Zolnierczyk recorded 30 goals and 39 assists for 69 points, along with 238 penalty minutes.
