The Harrisburg Senators fell to Richmond 4-2 Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. The Senators tied the game at 2-2 in the third inning on a Drew Ward solo home run, but the Flying Squirrels scored single runs in the seventh and eighth innings to avoid a series sweep. Richmond's pitching staff combined to retire 15 of the final 17 Senators batters faced.

Harrisburg (50-42, 8-14); Richmond (33-57, 10-13)

On Capitol Hill

Jackson Tetreault pitched six innings and allowed a pair of runs on two hits while walking six and striking out three. He threw 94 pitches, 45 strikes in the no-decision.

Justin Miller, Jordan Mills and Bryan Bonnell all tossed one inning with Miller allowing a hit and an unearned run to take the loss (0-1).

With the Gavel

Drew Ward finished 1-for-3 and hit his ninth home run of the season in his second game back with the Senators.

Nick Banks was the only Senator batter with a multi-hit game going 2-for-4 with an RBI. He is now 8-for-15 with five RBIs with the Senators.

Filibusters

- With the loss, the Senators are now 12-15 in the final game of a series played this season.

- Harrisburg falls to 23-25 in games against Western Division opponents.

- Despite the loss, the Sens are 7-3 against Richmond this season.
