Balanced scoring highlights Pit Bull victory over Baltimore

Sunrise, FL. Jarron Jones, Marcus Barnes and Andre Smith poured in 20 points apiece and former NBA legend Tim Hardaway added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Florida Pit Bulls to a 134-104 win over the visiting Baltimore Pearls at the BankAtlantic Center.

The Pit Bulls (3-2) led from wire to wire as they commenced the game with a 10-0 run and never looked back. Terrence Shelman added 13 and Karel Rosario, formerly of FIU, had 11. The Pit Bulls, who led by 14 at intermission, scored a team high 82 of their points in the second half. Florida also shot 14 of 31 from 3-point land with Barnes leading the team with 4 from behind the arc.

Baltimore was paced by guard Greg Jones who led all scorers with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists with seven 3-pointers. David Egans added 23 and Ernie Graham, Jr. had 15 for the Pearls. Egans grabbed 9 boards as well.

The Pit Bulls will finalize their four-game homestand this week with games Tuesday night against Dennis Scott's Atlanta Vision and Thursday night against the Charlotte Krunk at BankAtlantic Center.
