B-Sens Sign Defenseman R.J. Anderson and Goaltender Peter Vetri

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have signed defenseman R.J. Anderson and goaltender Peter Vetri to professional try-out contracts.

Anderson, 24, has appeared in 59 games with the B-Sens' ECHL affiliate Elmira Jackals this season where he has recorded seven goals, 32 assists and added 40 penalty minutes. He is tied for first among Jackals defensemen in points with 39.

The Lino Lakes, Minn. native also appeared in four games with the American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters this season where he earned an assist and posted two penalty minutes.

Vetri, 25, played a pair of games this season with the Federal Hockey League's Danbury Whalers where he posted a 2-0-0 record with 0.50 goals-against average and .981 save percentage.

The B-Sens will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
