
B-Sens' Opening Night Roster Finalized

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Senators' 22 player opening night roster has been finalized with the assignment of goaltender Kelly Guard to Charlotte of the East Coast Hockey League.
Guard spent the 2003-2004 season with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League where he guided the team to the 2004 Memorial Cup title. He led the WHL in wins (44), shutouts (13) and GAA (1.56) while being named runner-up for the WHL player of the year award.
Guard saw action in one game with the B-Sens during the 2004 preseason giving up two goals and making 11 saves.
The Binghamton Senators open the 2004-2005 season on Friday night with a 7 p.m. game at Albany. On Saturday the B-Sens will take on Syracuse in the home opener. That game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and tickets remain on sale.
