LAST GAME: The Binghamton Mets were held to just two hits, but still managed to eek out a 2-0 victory over the Reading Fightin Phils on Tuesday at NYSEG Stadium. Brandon Nimmo hit his first career Double-A home run with a runner on in the fifth for the game's only run. That was the only hit allowed by Severino Gonzalez who went seven innings and retired 18 of the 21 batters he faced. Greg Peavey won his third straight start, going six scoreless frames and striking out five. Cody Satterwhite earned his fourth save of the season.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Tyler Pill makes 13th start of the season and his second against Altoona. The Cal State-Fullerton product is coming off a win on Thursday, June 19 against Richmond. Pill pitched eight scoreless innings in Binghamton's 6-0 win, but that wasn't the most amazing part. The righty went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double, a home run, scored twice and knocked in four runs. He has won four of his last five starts and has not lost since May 5th at New Hampshire. The Covina, California native was taken by the Mets in the fourth round of the 2011 draft.

ALTOONA STARTER: LHP Joely Rodriguez takes the mound for the 15th time this season and the third time against Binghamton. The southpaw is coming off a loss in his most recent outing. He allowed five runs in a complete-game (six innings) in a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Portland on Saturday, June 21. The native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic is 1-1 against Binghamton this year. He's allowed four runs on ten hits in 13 innings against the team.. That includes a 6-5 win in Altoona on June 4. He signed with Pittsburgh in March 2009.

ROAD SCHOLARS: Binghamton is in the midst of a stretch in which they play 11 of 14 away from the Southern Tier. The B-Mets started on the right foot, taking two out of three from Bowie last weekend, to earn their sixth road win in eight chances. The team is 17-19 away from NYSEG Stadium this season.

IT'S ALWAYS A GOOD TIME: Tuesday's win guaranteed the fifth straight winning series for Binghamton. The team has won 13 of their last 15 games . The offense has put up double-digits in runs five times during that stretch, while the pitching has managed three shutouts.

JUST ENOUGH: Brandon Nimmo's two-run home run in on Tuesday was one of only two hits Binghamton tallied. It was the fewest base knocks the B-Mets managed in a win since they beat the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 3-0, with two hits on August 30, 2013. It was also the lowest hit total the team has put up all season.

MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME: The B-Mets have won each of Tyler Pill's last eight appearances. That comes after the squad dropped the first five. A big reason why is the awakening of the offense. Binghamton has averaged nearly seven runs per game in that stretch. They scored eight total in his first five starts to begin the season.

GETTING AHEAD: Including his performance on Tuesday night, B-Mets reliever Cody Satterwhite has retired the first batter he's faced 24 times in 27 chances. The righty also picked up his fourth save of the season in Tuesday's win. He's allowed just six earned run in 33 innings this season.

NOT THIS GUY: Altoona is not going to be happy to see B-Mets outfielder Kyle Johnson again. The righty is hitting .462 (6-for-13) in four games against the Curve this season. That includes a double, four runs scored and three RBI. Overall, Binghamton is hitting, .294 against Altoona with 13 doubles.
