
Ayo Akinola Suffers ACL Injury

Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced today that forward Ayo Akinola will likely miss the remainder of the 2021 season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in Canada's Concacaf Gold Cup game with the United States on Sunday, July 18. He will be evaluated by Toronto FC medical staff upon his return to the club in the coming days.
