Austin, TX Feb. 28, 2011 - The Austin Toros today announced they have traded guard Jermaine Beal as part of a three team trade with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Erie BayHawks. In the trade, Austin sent Jermaine Beal to Erie, Erie traded guard Derek Raivio to Fort Wayne, and Fort Wayne gave its third round selection in the 2011 NBA D-League draft to Austin.
The Toros will face off with the Texas Legends on Wednesday, March 2. Special Olympics Texas and Marbridge are special guests and fans are encouraged to take the pledge to end the use of the R-word. Tickets are available by calling (512) 236-8333 or visiting austintoros.com or ticketmaster.com.
