(CEDAR PARK, TEXAS - MAR. 13, 2015) - San Antonio assignee Kyle Anderson led all scorers with 26 points and seven rebounds, but the Austin Spurs fell to the Santa Cruz Warriors 104-94 Friday night on the SWBC Court inside the Cedar Park Center. Darington Hobson (21 points, 11 rebounds) paved the way for the Santa Cruz victory.
Austin's contributors included Keith Wright (10 points, 14 rebounds) and Jonathan Simmons (18 points, six rebounds). Mfon Udofia posted a season-high 16 points in his fourth start of the season.
In a back-and-forth game, the Spurs and Warriors both saw double-digit leads during the contest. While Austin fought back from an early 10-point deficit to take a 55-51 halftime lead, Santa Cruz outscored Austin by seven in both the third and fourth quarters to win the game.
Santa Cruz's balanced attack included contributions from Dominique Sutton (20 points, 10 rebounds), Mychel Thompson (21 points, six rebounds), and Anthony Vereen (19 points, five rebounds).
