Ehire Adrianza's single scored Carlos Willoughby from second base with two outs in the 10th inning, and the Augusta GreenJackets defeated the Lexington Legends 4-3 in the opener of a four-game series in Augusta Sunday. The GreenJackets took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Adam Duvall, a former University of Louisville star, hit his South Atlantic League-leading 15th home run of the season. Willoughby, who had led off the inning with a single, was on base when Duvall delivered his homer.

The Legends moved in front with three runs in the top of the fifth. Emilio King, who had three of Lexington's six hits, led off with a single. He advanced to third on two wild pitches by Augusta starter Justin Schumer. Delino DeShields Jr. walked and stole second, and he and King both scored on Adam Bailey's single up the middle. Bailey went to second as Chris Wallace grounded out, and he scored the go-ahead run when left fielder Devin Harris dropped Mike Kvasnicka's fly ball.

The GreenJackets tied it in the bottom of the fifth on a walk to Joel Weeks, a wild pitch and a base hit by Chris Lofton.

The score was still 3-3 with two outs and the bases empty in the bottom of the 10th when Willoughby lined a double to right field. After Jorge DeLeon relieved Brian Streilein for Lexington, Adrianza lined a single to right to score Willoughby with the winning run.

Mario Rodriguez (3-4), who entered the game in the top of the 10th, got the win. Streilein (5-2) took the loss.

The two teams will meet again Monday at 7:05 p.m. in Augusta.
