TONIGHT: The Mudcats continue their final home stand of the season tonight with game two of a four game series versus the Down East Wood Ducks at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, NC. Tonight's game is the 21st of 23 total between the two teams this season. The Wood Ducks finished their home schedule at 8-1 versus Carolina and currently lead the season series 11-9. The Mudcats took last night's game 3-2 and are 8-3 versus the Wood Ducks at home this season.
ICYMI: Christian Taugner stuck out seven over five solid innings and Demi Orimoloye went 2-for-4 with a run as the Mudcats defeated the Wood Ducks 3-2 in the series opener of a four game series at Five County Stadium on Monday night.
