The Owen Sound Attack have named assistant captain Kevin Hancock the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week for Week 9 of the OHL Season.

This marks the 4th time Hancock has been awarded the Player of the Week already this season, as his torrid scoring pace now sees him leading the OHL in points.

The Mississauga native currently has posted 43 points in just 23 games, including 8 points in 3 games this past week.

Wednesday against Sarnia, Hancock scored a goal and assisted on Brady Lyle's powerplay goal, before making a beautiful pass to Daylon Groulx on a 2-on-1 to pick up his 3rd point of the game. The Attack rolled to a 6-1 victory over the Sting

Thursday in Peterborough, Kevin picked up an assist in the overtime loss. Saturday night at home Hancock received his first hat-trick of the season, despite it being his 7th multi-goal game of the year. Hancock added an assist on a goal by Groulx, capping off an impressive 4-point performance and an 8-point week.
