
Attack Face a Trio of Teams in Week 3 of OHL Season

The Owen Sound Attack look to bounce back from a rough start to the Ontario Hockey League season, winning only 1 of their 4 regular season games so far. The Attack will play three games in four days in week 3 of the OHL season.
The Bears will face the Sarnia Sting at home on Wednesday night for a 7:00pm puck drop at the Harry Lumley Bayshore.
Sarnia has played three regular season games thus far, capturing a win in all three contests against Saginaw, Flint and Sault St. Marie.
Jacob Perreault, rookie right winger for the Sting, has impressed so far, scoring 2 goals and 1 assist in three games. Centreman Ryan McGregor has also made his mark, scoring 2 goals in the 2018 Pre-Season and sitting at 2 goals and 1 assist in three games played in the regular season.
Owen Sound will face the Sting with a full roster for the first time in the 2018/19 regular season as both Nick Suzuki and Sean Durzi are back from NHL camp. Suzuki made quite the return last week, scoring a hattrick for the Bears in Saturday night's contest against the Ottawa 67's. Durzi will play his first 2018/19 OHL game back at the Harry Lumley Bayshore on Wednesday night after a stint with both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies training camps. In recent roster changes, the team as also released netminder Nathan Torchia.
Friday evening, the Attack will head down to Budweiser Gardens to face long-time rival the London Knights for a 7:30pm puck drop.
The Knights have three regular season games under their belt, capturing a win against Windsor and Flint, but losing 5-3 to The Soo. London will face Windsor once again on Thursday, ahead of the Attack-Knights match up on Friday.
Rookie Matvey Guskov shines with London so far, scoring 6 points in the 2018 Pre-Season and sitting at 1 goal and 3 assists in the first four games of the regular season. Nathan Dunkley, who finished second for the Knights in points last year, sits at 5 points in 4 games this season.
Friday night's game will be available for fans live on Rogers Local 53 as well as on 560 CFOS Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio.
Following Friday night's match up, the Attack will head back to Owen Sound to face the Oshawa Generals for the first time this season at the Harry Lumley Bayshore, a 7:30pm puck drop, their sixth regular season game.
The Gens have played four regular season games thus far, winning two of their contests against the North Bay Battalion, and falling to the Kingston Frontenacs and the Sudbury Wolves. Oshawa will face the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night, ahead of their match up with the Attack.
Tyler Tullio, rookie right winger, lead the Pre-Season for the Gens, with 5 points in four games played. Tullio currently has four points in four games played in the regular season as well. Veteran Serron Noel leads the team in points thus far in the regular season, scoring 6 goals and 1 assist in four games played.
