HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs are excited to announce the leadership team for the 2018-2019 season. Mackenzie Entwistle will captain the Bulldogs, with Brandon Saigeon, Nicolas Mattinen, Isaac Nurse and Matthew Strome appointed as assistant captains.

On the new leadership team, Coach Dave Matsos said, "We are confident Mackenzie has all the qualities necessary to be the captain of this group of players. We also know he will have strong support from the four assistant captains named today. This group of young men know what it takes to lead, and to win."

Entwistle, a prospect of the Chicago Blackhawks scored 38 points (13 goals, 25 assists) in 49 regular-season games for the Bulldogs last season. He added 10 goals in 21 playoff games as the team won the OHL championship. "It's a huge honour to be named captain of the Hamilton Bulldogs", said Entwistle. "I certainly recognize the responsibility that comes with being the captain of this team. We have a great group of leaders in our dressing room and we're excited to continue the tradition of what's been built in a few short years here in Hamilton."
