OHL Owen Sound Attack

Attack Clinch Post-Season Spot

March 6, 2009 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack has clinched a playoff spot in the Western Conference thanks to a London Knights 7-1 win over the Kitchener Rangers yesterday evening. The Attack make a return to the post-season after finishing 9th last season and missing the playoffs.

One of the few things left to determine will be who the Attack will face in the opening round. Both the Attack and the Erie Otters have 5 games remaining, while Erie holds a slight 2 point advantage over the Attack. If the Attack happen to finish 8th, they will play former Attack forward Lane MacDermid and the Country's #1 ranked team, the Windsor Spitfires. If the Attack overtakes the Otters for 7th spot in the conference, they will take on super prospect John Tavares and the London Knights.

Depending on which team the Attack draw in the first round, dates and times are still to be confirmed, however; home game #1 tickets and home game #2 tickets are on sale now at the Attack Box Office.

Season ticket holders are reminded that their seats are held until 1:00pm the day prior to each playoff game. Season ticket holders can also fill out their ticket request sheet that was delivered in their season ticket package that allows them to purchase their seats for every home playoff game and drop it off at the Attack Box Office.
