Erie Otters News Release
The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that tickets for the first two home playoff games will go on sale to the general public this Monday (March 9th) at 10 a.m. at the Civic Center Box Office, all Erie-area Ticketmaster locations, on-line at www.ottershockey.com or by calling 814-452-4857.
Ticket prices for the opening round of the 2009 OHL Playoffs are $15 for Platinum, $13 for Gold and $11 for Children (12 and under) in either seating section.
2008-09 Season Ticket Holders who did not purchase a 2009 Playoff Package will have their Season Ticket Seats held until 5:30 p.m. the day before the game. As a special bonus, Season Ticket Holders can purchase their Season Ticket Seats for $1.00 off the Box Office price by simply showing their 2008-09 Season Ticket Holder ID Card. Additional seats can be purchased at the regular Box Office price.
Dates, times and opponent for the Otters first two home playoff games will be announced once finalized. Tickets for a third Otters home post-season game as well as any additional playoff games will go on-sale once deemed necessary.
The Otters play their next three games on the road beginning tonight (Friday) in Sarnia against the Sting, a team they trail by four points for sixth in the Western Conference standings. The game can be heard live on www.ottershockey.com (presented by the James H. Cross Company) beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m. and tape delayed in its entirety immediately following Gannon University playoff basketball on FOX Sports Radio AM 1330 The FAN.
Saturday afternoon the Otters travel to Kitchener to meet the Rangers at 2 p.m. The game can be heard live on FOX Sports Radio AM 1330 The FAN and on-line at www.ottershockey.com (presented by the James H. Cross Company) beginning with the pre-game show at 1:45 p.m.
The next Otters home games take place March 14th and 15th.
Saturday, March 14th it's the Otters and the Kitchener Rangers in a 7 p.m. start at the Tullio Arena. All fans into the game will receive a free menu item courtesy of Taco Bell. Sunday, March 15th it's the Otters and the Guelph Storm in a special 4:30 p.m. start. It's Fan Appreciation Day presented by Erie Business Center and Green Prosthetics as the Otters celebrate St. Patrick's Day by wearing green jerseys and the two teams will compete on green ice!
