The Owen Sound Attack announced Friday they have acquired defenceman Carter Robertson from the Ottawa 67's in exchange for a 2nd round draft pick in 2021 and London Knights 2nd round draft pick in 2019 that the team previously acquired.

A native of Holland Landing, Ontario, Robertson spent the last two seasons in Ottawa, with a total of 18 points and 24 penalty minutes in 57 games in the 2017-18 season for the defenceman.

"We are excited to have Carter on board," Attack GM Dale DeGray said about the trade.

"Carter will add even more experience for us on the ice and in the dressing room."

As a member of the York Simcoe Express minor midget team, Robertson won an OHL Cup Championship in the 2015-16 season.

The 2000 birth year also represented Canada in the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2016-17. This season of Attack Hockey is presented to you by Lerners Personal Injury Lawyers.
