Atlanta Dream News Release

ATLANTA, August 2, 2011 - The Atlanta Dream has partnered with the Avon Breast Health Center at Grady for the team's annual "Dream Pink" game on Sunday, August 7 to help raise funds for breast health awareness. The Dream will host the Seattle Storm in a re-match of last year's WNBA Finals series. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Philips Arena.

The first 3,000 fans will receive a "Dream Pink" t-shirt courtesy of the Avon Breast Health Center at Grady. Fans are encouraged to stop by the "Dream Pink" silent auction table on the concourse prior to the game to bid on exclusive items, such as authentic game-worn pink jerseys, autographed pink basketball shoes, team-signed memorabilia, and more. The silent auction will remain open until the end of the third quarter.

Immediately following the game, there will be a live auction hosted by Lisa Borders, President of the Grady Health Foundation. The live auction will include appearances by Dream players and will feature the top players' authentic game-worn pink jerseys, unique fan experiences with Dream players and more. All proceeds benefit the Avon Breast Health Center at Grady.

Breast cancer survivors will be honored throughout the game. Survivors will participate in the pre-game ball exchange and fan tunnel, and will form a pink ribbon on-court during halftime. Dream players will also visit patients at the Avon Breast Health Center on Friday, August 5 from 2-4 p.m. to provide a day of pampering and relaxation.

The Atlanta Dream is the defending Women's National Basketball Association's (WNBA) Eastern Conference Champion. The Dream plays 17 home games this summer at Philips Arena. The Dream host the New York Liberty on August 2 at 7:30 p.m., the Seattle Storm on August 7 at 3:00 p.m., and the Connecticut Sun on August 19 at 7:30 p.m. For ticket information, visit www.AtlantaDream.net or call (877) 977-7729.
