The final full month of the regular season includes a pair of four-game series at Merchantsauto.com Stadium against the two clubs the Fishers are seeking to pass on the road to the Eastern League Championship -the Portland Sea Dogs and the Trenton Thunder.

MAJOR SPLASH FELT LAST SUNDAY!

The Fisher Cats held Splash Day at Merchantsauto.com Stadium last Sunday with great success.

The Auburn and Candia Fire Departments used their ladder trucks to refresh the fans who were fortunate enough to be in the 'Wet Zone', Sec. 100-102.

The Fisher Cats staff wore Life Guard T- Shirts, the Sumo Wrestlers mixed it up with a Slip-and-Slide, and Pat Lewis and Mike Tarleton provided fans with a true outlet --taking falls in our very own DUNK TANK!

Be on the lookout for Splash Day the Sequel in 2008!

FISHER CATS LOOK TO STRIKE OUT DIABETES ON AUGUST 9!

Nearly 21 million Americans are living with Diabetes right now. That's 7% of the country's population.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the American Diabetes Association are teaming up to create awareness for Diabetes. The ADA will be on hand at the Fisher Cats game on Thursday, August 9 as a part of Diabetes Awareness Night at Merchantsauto.com Stadium.

Youth Ambassador for the ADA, Ryan Henry, will be throwing out a first pitch. The ADA will also have a table set up on the main concourse to distribute information on the disease.

You can visit their table that night to register for the 2007 Step Out to Fight Diabetes Walk that will start at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium on October 20th.

BELLETETES TIP OF THE WEEK -ICE DAMS CAN BE PREVENTED!

The main cause of ice dams is an overly warm attic. A good way to reduce the temperature in your attic is by adding insulation on the attic floor by laying additional batts across the existing ones or having more insulation blown in.

The other major consideration is proper ventilation. If your house's roof overhangs the outside walls, add vents into these overhangs (soffits). Cold air entering the soffit vent rises along the inside of the roof and exits through the ridge vent, cooling the roof and removing moisture at the same time.

For more expert advice and product information to correct this problem, visit the professionals at Belletetes.
