(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Lexington Legends held the Asheville Tourists to just three hits, but the Tourists still came away with a 2-1 victory Tuesday night.

Asheville scored both of their runs in the fourth inning. Harold Riggins led off with a walk and then stole second base. Jordan Ribera followed with a double to right field, plating Riggins. One out later, Lexington second baseman Delino DeShields Jr. mishandled a ball hit by Joey Wong, which allowed Ribera to score, giving the Tourists a 2-0 lead.

Lexington scored their lone run in the fifth. With one out, Mike Kvasnicka singled to right field, and advanced to second on an error by Asheville right fielder Jared Simon. Chan Jong Moon then grounded out, moving Kvasnicka to third, from where he scored on a wild pitch by Asheville starter Vianney Mayo.

Asheville's Michael Wolford (2-1) came into the game with two outs in the fifth, and got the win by throwing two and one-third innings of scoreless baseball. Mayo went four and two-thirds and allowed one run, striking out four. Jefri Hernandez retired the side in order in the ninth to collect his 12th save of the season.

Tommy Shirley (0-1) came in relief of Lexington starter Jonas Dufek, who was lifted after a one-hour, two-minute rain delay interrupted play in the middle of the first inning. Shirley went four innings, allowing two runs, only one earned, and striking out six. Mitchell Lambson pitched the final four innings, only allowing one hit, and striking out seven Tourist batters.

The Legends now travel to Hagerstown for a five game series against the Suns, beginning Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.
