New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- 3B Eric Arnold was activated from the disabled list today. He had been on the DL since May 24 with a sinus infection.
The 25-year-old Arnold was hitting .215 with 4 HR and 17 RBI in 28 games before going on the disabled list. He was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th round of the 2002 draft out of Rice University.
With the addition of Arnold to the active roster, New Hampshire is at the league maximum of 23 players.
The Fisher Cats are in Norwich, CT today for the final game of a three game series with the Defenders at 10:35 AM. New Hampshire will then head to Altoona to meet the Curve (Pirates) this weekend at Blair County Ballpark, before returning home to play Erie (Tigers) on Tuesday night at 6:35pm.
