(Savannah, GA) Jonathan Aristil turned in a quality start for Asheville (4-2, 30-45) with six innings and five strikeouts. Reyes powered the Sand Gnats with a three-run homerun in the second inning for the only Savannah runs. Aristil would then continue to retire the next 13 batters he faced before leaving the game in the 7th inning.
Tyler Massey doubled with one out in the seventh and came home on the second Ryan Peisel double on the night accounting for the one Asheville run. Scott Robinson added a single as Asheville out-hit the Sand Gnats 4-3 in the contest.
