Hagerstown Suns News Release
HAGERSTOWN, MD -- Persistent inclement weather conditions resulted in the postponement of Wednesday night's game between the Hagerstown Suns and the Kannapolis Intimidators at Municipal Stadium.
Wednesday night's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday night, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. in anticipation of a 5:35 p.m. start. Each contest will last seven innings, with the second game starting half an hour after the completion of the first.
It will be a Thirsty Thursday at Municipal Stadium for the doubleheader, and all fans presenting a military I.D. card will be entitled to $1.00 admission as part of Military Appreciation Night. Like every Thirsty Thursday at Municipal Stadium, 12 oz. domestic drafts will sell for just $1.25 each, but this Thursday the Suns will be adding Budweiser American Ale drafts as a special to their $1.25 menu. For fans presenting their military I.D., that price will drop even lower, to just $1.00 for all 12 oz. domestic drafts. In addition, Budweiser American Ale long necks will be on sale for the one-time price of just $2.00.
The Hagerstown Suns play at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown, MD and are a Class "A" affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Ticket packages and sponsorships are available by calling the Suns at 301-791-6266. Visit the Suns on the web at www.hagerstownsuns.com. The Suns are owned by Los Angeles based Mandalay Baseball Properties.
