Springfield, MO - The Cardinals (29-29) offense erupted Tuesday night to take Game 1 of the series against the Drillers (37-21). SS Arquímedes Gamboa, CF Mike Antico, and DH LJ Jones IV each went yard in tonight's victory.

Notables:

2B Nick Dunn went 3-for-5 tonight with his 7th double of the season, extending his hitting streak to 7 games

SS Arquímedes Gamboa and CF Mike Antico each with the 2-out solo home runs went back-to-back in the 2nd inning to give the Cardinals an early 2-0 lead
