
Another Shutout Lifts ICE past Brandon 5-0

Skyler Bruce scored two goals as the Winnipeg ICE shut out the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-0 Saturday night at Westoba Place.
With the win, the ICE improved their record to 43-9-3-2 clinching the WHL's East Division Championship with 91 points.
Carson Lambos, Jack Finley and Chase Wheatcroft also scored while Daniel Hauser earned his WHL leading seventh shut out making 19 saves.
Carson Bjarnason stopped 32 of 27 shots for Brandon, who are now on a six game losing streak.
The ICE went 2/4 on the power play while the Wheat Kings were 0/3.
Winnipeg finished the 10 game regular season Battle of Manitoba presented by Taylor McCaffery Lawyers with an 8-0-1-1 record against Brandon.
Next action for the ICE is Tuesday in Prince Albert (7:30 pregame show on CFRW 1290).
