Norfolk Admirals News Release

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that forward Chris Wagner has been recalled from their primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL), the Norfolk Admirals.

Wagner, 23, returns to Anaheim after contributing five hits and earning the game's Third Star of the Night in last Friday's 4-2 comeback win over rival Los Angeles. The Walpole, Massachusetts native has made three appearances for the Ducks this season, the first three NHL games of his career. Wagner is a minus-1 with two shots and two penalty minutes for Anaheim. In 187 regular season games for Norfolk, the 2010 fifth-round draft pick of the Ducks scored 35 goals and 75 points. He tallied two markers and three assists in the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs for the Admirals.

The Admirals host another two-game set beginning Wednesday night at 7:15 p.m. at Scope versus the Binghamton Senators. The brief series concludes Friday at 7:30 p.m.
