Sat., Feb. 28 - Penguins 3 at HARTFORD 2 (OT)

Andrew Ebbett's breakaway goal at 2:27 of overtime helped the Penguins skate away with a 3-2 victory over Hartford. In the second period Reid McNeill notched his first goal since Oct. 17, 2014, while Jayson Megna also capitalized on a power play. Chris Mueller twice found the back of the net for the Wolf Pack to erase a pair of one-goal leads for the Penguins. Jeff Zatkoff made 29 saves on 31 shots for the win.

Sun., Mar. 1 - Penguins 7 at BRIDGEPORT 0

Matt Murray made 18 saves for his eighth shutout of the season as the Penguins started March off with a bang in a 7-0 win versus the Sound Tigers. Brian Dumoulin and Andrew Ebbett each tallied a goal and two assists. Josh Archibald scored twice for his first multi-goal game in the AHL.

With a record of 34-14-5-2, Manchester currently leads the Atlantic Division and ranks second in the Eastern Conference. Monarch forward Brian O'Neill leads the AHL with 58 points (18G-40A) and is tied for the league lead with 40 assists. Teammate Jordan Weal is fourth in points (50) and tied for third in assists (36). Jean-Francois Berube is tied for first among goalies with 25 wins.

Sun., Mar. 8 - Penguins at SPRINGFIELD

Springfield (32-20-6-0) is in second place in the Northeast Division and tied with W-B/Scranton for the fourth spot in the conference. The Penguins are 3-0-0-0 this season versus the Falcons, outscoring them 14-0 and posting shutouts in all games. T.J. Tynan is tops among AHL rookies with 15 power play assists and 17 power play points. He also ranks fifth among first-year players with 34 points (7G-27A).

Ice Chips

- Matt Murray today was named CCM/AHL Goaltender of the Month for February after going 4-0-0-0 and allowing only one goal on 110 shots, while posting a 0.25 goals-against average, a .991 save percentage and three shutouts.

- He has registered shutouts in three straight starts and in five of his last seven. On Sunday in Bridgeport, Murray collected his eighth shutout of the season, breaking the team record set by Brad Thiessen in 2010-11.

- Murray also currently leads the AHL in goals against average (1.65), save percentage (.936) and shutouts (8).

- W-B/Scranton has won four in a row and gathered points in 14 of their last 15 games (12-1-1-1), while extending their point streak to a season-best 10 games (8-0-1-1).

- The Penguins' seven-goal output on Sunday was their most on the road since a 7-2 win at Albany on Mar. 16, 2009.
