Amerks Recall Colin Jacobs from Elmira

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled forward Colin Jacobs from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Jacobs, 22, has recorded 16 points (5+11) and 47 penalty minutes in 22 games with Elmira this season. In 82 career ECHL games with Elmira, Jacobs, a native of Coppell, Texas, has registered 34 points (12+22) and 191 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Jacobs has also appeared in 44 career AHL games with the Amerks, recording seven points (2+5) and 48 penalty minutes. He was originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the fourth round (107th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
