
Amerks Announce 2009-10 Training Camp Roster

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today the team's 2009-10 training camp roster. Forty-three players will battle for a roster spot and a chance to play in the Amerks' season opener on Saturday, October 3rd against the Lake Erie Monsters at The Blue Cross Arena.
The Amerks will open training camp on Thursday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the ESL Sports Centre on the campus of Monroe Community College. The roster consists of 43 players and features 27 forwards, 12 defensemen and four goaltenders. The highlight of camp is the team's lone preseason home game on Sunday, September 27th against the Syracuse Crunch at 6:00 p.m.
Fans can get players' autographs, and meet the Amerks Moose and the American Spirit promotional team at the preseason contest. Tickets for the September 27th preseason game are now on sale at the ESL Sports Centre. General admission ticket pricing is $7.00 for adults and free for kids wearing a team hockey jersey. The Rochester Americans also have a limited quantity of tickets available for purchase at the Amerks Office in The Blue Cross Arena.
