Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the Americans have traded 19-year-old forward Landon Roberts to the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospect Draft.
Roberts, a native of Souris, Man., was selected 129th overall by the Americans in the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft. The six-foot-three and 210-pound left-winger totaled three goals and two assists through 63 games played with the Americans.
"With an abundance of forwards, it was necessary to make a roster move," said Tory. "We wish Landon all the best in Brandon."
Tri-City returns to the Toyota Center on Friday to take on the Seattle Thunderbirds. Single game tickets can be purchased at the Toyota Center Box Office or online from Ticketmaster.
