The Americans and Thunderbirds will meet tonight for the 9th time in their 14 game season series.
Seattle has taken victory in all 8 prior meetings this season with the Americans picking up overtime points on October 30 and November 6. Seattle's Conner Roulette leads head-to-head scoring with three goals and nine assists. For the Americans, Parker Bell has two goals and three assists. Marc Lajoie has a team-high three goals against the Thunderbirds. Seattle clinched a playoff spot last night with 4-3 victory over the Silvertips. Meanwhile, the Americans are four points out of the final playoff spot with a game in hand over Spokane and Victoria.
The Americans took on the Winterhawks last night Portland as they fell 8-3. For the second night in a row, Tri-City scored first but was unable to continue their early success. Sasha Mutala. Petr Moravec and Rhett Melnyk scored Tri-City's three goals. Nick Avakyan played the full game in net, turning aside 31 of 39 shots faced.
