Prince Albert Raiders defenceman Nolan Allan scored the game winning goal 1:51 into overtime to give his team a 3-2 decision over the Winnipeg ICE Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
For the fourth straight game the ICE went beyond 60 minutes. Mikey Milne tied the game for Winnipeg with his 27th goal of the season at 11:03 of the third period.
Jack Finley's 18th of the season, and second goal in as many games, put the ICE in front 1-0 after the opening period.
Landon Kosior on the power play and Cale Sanders also scored for Prince Albert, who out shot the ICE 39-35.
Tikhon Chaika earned the win in goal making 33 saves while Gage Alexander stopped 36 at the other end of the ice.
Winnipeg failed to score on their long power play of the game, the Raiders went 1/5.
Forward Matthew Savoie assisted on Milne's goal and now leads the ICE with 68 points (25 goals and 43 assists) in 50 games.
The ICE return home for a 7:00 face off Tuesday night vs the Calgary Hitmen at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.
