
Americans Resume Rivalry with Missouri Tonight

Allen Americans Goaltender Riley Gill Sprawls to Make a Save vs. the Missouri Mavericks

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans (36-20-3-2) and Missouri Mavericks (46-8-3-2) meet for the second time in a week tonight, as the two clubs square off at 7:05 pm at Allen Event Center.
The Americans defeated Missouri last Wednesday night 4-2 in Allen. It was just the second win in six games against Missouri all season. Chad Costello leads the way for Allen against Missouri with five points in six games, with two goals and three assists.
"This is a great rivalry that is really starting to heat up," said Americans forward Chad Costello. "We played one of our best games of the season against them last game, and we'll need that same effort again tonight ."
Chad Costello leads the ECHL with 86 points, 22 goals and 64 assists. He also leads the ECHL with 34 total power play points. Both Riley Gill and Joel Rumpel have a record of 1-2 against Missouri. The Americans have won two of the three games in the series at Allen Event Center.
Both Spencer Asuchak and CJ Ludwig are serving their extended suspensions. Asuchak has served two of his six games and is eligible to return to the Americans lineup on March 26 th when Allen hosts Missouri. Ludwig, who was suspended four games, can return to Missouri's lineup Sunday in Wichita.
