
Americans Release 15-16 ECHL Schedule

Allen, Texas -The ECHL released the 2015-2016 home schedule last week; today, the league announced the complete 2015-2016 schedule with some key dates highlighted below.
The Americans will see 11 different opponents at home next season, as compared to six this year, with Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Alaska, Evansville and Cincinnati all making stops at Allen Event Center next season, in addition to old familiar rivals Tulsa, Quad City, Rapid City, Wichita and Missouri.
The Americans open the season at home on Friday and Saturday, October 16th and 17th, against the Quad City Mallards and Tulsa Oilers, respectively. Allen will host five straight games outside the division from January 8th - 18th, with back to back visits from the Colorado Eagles and Cincinnati Cyclones, which includes the traditional MLK Day game on the 18th. In early February, get ready for the first ever visit to Allen by the Utah Grizzlies on Friday, February 5th. In March, the only visit of the season by the Alaska Aces will be March 18th.
The Americans will play road games in late October that will take them to Colorado on October 10th, followed by a two-game set in Utah on October 23rd & 24th. The team will make its only visit to Idaho right before Christmas, on December 18th and 19th for a pair of weekend games. Allen will visit Alaska for three dates in February, on the 10th, 12th and 13th. Allen will be on the road to ring in the New Year, with a January 1st showdown in Missouri against the Mavericks.
The Americans continue playoff action this Friday and Saturday night at home, for Round 2 of the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs. Tickets for both games are on sale at www.ticketmaster.com or call 972-912-1000 for more information.

Next Saturday May 2nd, there will be a Select -A -Seat Event at Allen Event Center from 12 pm - 4 pm. Fans can 'Test Drive' tagged seats for the 2015-2016 season.
This is the perfect opportunity to jump around and pick out seats that you feel are the best vantage point to the action. Placing a small deposit per seat will allow you to lock in your seat selection for the 2015-2016 season. Americans fans should enter through the Americans Team Store for the Open House Event.
