Americans Reassign Danyluk to Yorkton

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has reassigned 19-year-old goaltender Joel Danyluk to the Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The move is effective immediately and reduces the club roster to 28 players (16 forwards, 9 defensemen and 3 goaltenders).

Danyluk, a native of Yorkton, SK, appeared in three pre-season games this season, going 1-1 with a 2.63 goals against average and a 0.903 save percentage. After being listed by Tri-City before this year's main camp, Danyluk appeared in 16 games for the Terriers last season, going 6-5-0-1 with a 2.76 goals against average and a 0.908 save percentage.

The club returns to action this Friday, September 25th, as the Americans take on the division-rival Portland Winterhawks at the Toyota Center. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available through all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Toyota Center box office, all Fred Meyer outlets, or online at ticketmaster.com. Fans can also catch all the action live on NewsTalk 870 AM, starting with the Sterling Savings Bank Warm-up Show at 6:45 p.m.
