
Americans Look for Weekend Sweep against Brampton

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans play the only Canadian team in the Central Hockey League again tonight, the Brampton Beast, beginning at 7:05 pm at Allen Event Center, located at hwy 75 and Stacy road in the Village at Allen.
The Americans came out on top last night by a score of 4-3 thanks to the save of the year by forward Kale Kerbashian, who helped out netminder Bryan Pitton in a shorthanded situation for Allen. Kerbashian had two goals last night and is now tied with Darryl Bootland for second overall on the team in points with 24.
"There were more positives than negatives in tonight's game, "said Allen Americans Head Coach and GM Steve Martinson following the team's second win in a row. "We gave up the early goal then outplayed them the rest of the opening period." The Americans outshot Brampton for the game 37-20.
The Americans will welcome Santa Claus to the concourse again tonight for photo's beginning at 6:00 pm. Also the Americans will host their second Hockey n Heels of the season beginning at 5:30 pm. Skate rental will be available for 3 dollars.
The Ice Angels will be signing calendars during the second intermission on the concourse. You can purchase one of the new Ice Angel calendars in the team store for just $20.00 dollars.
