
Central Hockey League Announces Suspensions
December 21, 2013 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (December 21, 2013) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Wichita Thunder forward Erick Lizon and Arizona Sundogs forward Ian Schultz have each been suspended for their actions in last night's 5-4 Sundogs win over the Thunder.
Lizon has been suspended for three (3) games after receiving a Match Penalty at the 1:26 mark of the opening period of last night's game. The forward was penalized for punching an unsuspecting player in the face with an ungloved fist. Lizon will miss tonight's game in Arizona as well as 12/27 at Tulsa and 12/28 vs. St. Charles.
Schultz has been suspended for one (1) game after receiving a Slashing Major penalty and accompanying Game Misconduct in the second period of last night's game. Schultz will miss tonight's re-match with the Thunder.
