Americans Host Chiefs for Superhero Night

The Tri-City Americans will wear special Batman jerseys tonight as they take on the Spokane Chiefs at the Toyota Center.

The two teams will meet for the sixth time this season in their 12-game season series. They most recently met on December 31 when the Americans earned a 7-6 overtime victory on New Year's Eve. Parker Bell has the most points in the season series with three goals and seven assists. Chase Bertholet has the most points for Spokane with three goals and four assists.

Tri-City comes into tonight's game with points in their last nine games (6-0-3-0), while Spokane is on a two game losing streak.

The Americans defeated Everett 2-1 last night at the Toyota Center, moving past the Silvertips into fourth place in the Western Conference standings.

Lukas Dragicevic and Jalen Luypen scored Tri-City's two goals. Tomas Suchanek played the full game in net, turning aside 25/26 shots faced.
