Langley, BC - The Giants sent the home crowd home happy Friday night with a 3-1 victory over the Kelowna Rockets.
1st Period:
KEL: Adam Kydd opened the scoring for the Rockets 7:39 into the game on a rebound in a net side scramble.
2nd Period:
VAN: Tyler Thorpe shoveled home a rebound to tie the game at one 4:50 into the middle frame.
VAN: The Giants went ahead 2-1 with a snipe from Jaden Lipinski 9:49 later.
3rd Period:
VAN: Brenden Pentecost finished the scoring for the night with a point shot with 5:44 to go in the game.
