Americans Announce 2015-2016 Home Schedule

Allen, Texas - The ECHL and the Allen Americans announced the Americans 2015-2016 home schedule with times, and the away schedule to be announced soon.

The Americans open the season at home on Friday and Saturday, October 16th and 17th, against the Quad City Mallards and Tulsa Oilers, respectively. The Americans will host a Halloween game on Saturday, October 31st, against the Missouri Mavericks. The Colorado Eagles will be in for two games in mid-November, on Saturday and Sunday, November 14th and 15th. The Missouri Mavericks return the day after Christmas for a Boxing Day Spectacular on December 26th. Allen will host five straight games outside the division from January 8th - 18th, with back to back visits from the Colorado Eagles and Cincinnati Cyclones, which includes the traditional MLK Day game on the 18th. In early February, get ready for the first ever visit to Allen by the Utah Grizzlies on Friday, February 5th. In March, the only visit of the season by the Alaska Aces on March 18th, and the Americans close the regular season with three straight at home against the Evansville Icemen on April 6th, 8th and 9th, which includes a Friday and Saturday at home to close out the regular season.

30 of the 36 home dates will be weekend dates this year, which includes the Monday MLK Day game on January 18th. The Americans will have a total of 7 Fridays, 12 Saturdays, and 10 Sundays.

The Americans will see Wichita the most at home next season, with a total of seven regular season visits by the Thunder. The rest of the schedule breaks down as follows; Tulsa (6), Missouri (6), Utah (2), Idaho (2), Evansville (3), Alaska (1), Cincinnati (3), Quad City (1), Colorado (4), and Rapid City (1).
