Americans Announce 2009-10 Main Camp Roster

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced today the team's roster for next week's main camp. Following the conclusion of main camp, the Americans will depart for Everett and participate in the Silvertips' Pre-Season Tournament, set for Sept. 4-6 at Comcast Arena.

This year's main camp will feature 17 returning players from last season's U.S. Division Championship team, along with five rookie players that appeared in at least one game for Tri-City last season. There will also be four local prospects at this year's camp, forward Jesse Wiebe and defensemen Jordan Allan, Brad Senner and Chase Wharton. Senner and Wiebe both played for the Tri-City Titans last season, while Allan played in the West Coast Midget League and Wharton was with the Spokane Braves.

Arriving late to this year's camp will be goaltender Alexander Pechurski and forward Sergei Drozd, the Americans' two picks from the 2009 CHL Import Draft.
