
Oil Kings Sign Mitchell Moroz

Edmonton, AB.: The Edmonton Oil Kings are pleased to announce the signing of Mitchell Moroz. The left winger was the Oil Kings second round pick, 30th overall, in the 2009 draft.
"We are very proud to have Mitchell move forward with his Western Hockey League career with the Edmonton Oil Kings and start the process of earning his Western Hockey League scholarship," says Oil Kings General Manager Bob Green. "As a fifteen year old, Mitchell will gain valuable experience over the course of this season as he prepares for his WHL career"
Moroz spent last season with the Calagary Northstars of the Alberta Major Bantam League. The 6 foot, 176 pound winger scored 20 goals and added 16 assists in 31 Regular Season games.
The Edmonton Oil Kings host the 3rd Annual Pre-season Invitational Tournament presented by Elite Sportswear and Awards this weekend at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert. The games begin tomorrow with the Medicine Hat Tigers taking on the Moose Jaw Warriors at 3:00 pm. The Oil Kings face the Regina Pats at 7:00 pm. Click on the link for a full schedule.
