Tri-City Americans News Release
Kennewick, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has acquired 2004-born forward Carter MacAdams from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.
MacAdams, from Langley, B.C., was drafted by the Prince George Cougars 70th overall in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft. The six-foot-four and 190-pound left-winger is in his third season in the WHL. He was acquired by the Hitmen from Prince George in January. In the 2022-23 season, MacAdams totaled six goals and 15 assists through 36 games played.
"With only 12 forwards on our team presently and the long-term injury to Jake Gudelj, we felt it was necessary to add another forward," stated Tory. "Carter is a skilled power forward who will add size, scoring, and depth to our roster."
In 20 games with the Hitmen this year, MacAdams has scored four times and added six assists.
The Americans would like to welcome Carter to the organization.
