Spokane, Wash - The Spokane Chiefs hosted the Vancouver Giants on Wednesday night, falling 3-0 in the first leg of a 4-games-in-5-nights stretch.
A slow start in the first period ultimately sank the Chiefs as Vancouver found the goal three times early on. Julian Cull, Aaron Obobaifo, and Adam Titlbach were the goal scorers while Colten Roberts (x2), Justin Ivanusec, and Kyren Gronick provided the assists.
The Chiefs were 0/3 on the power play and 2/2 on the penalty kill. Dawson Cowan made 30 saves and Spokane managed 32 shots but could not break through.
The Chiefs continue a busy week with a road game at Wenatchee on Friday, home game versus Victoria on Saturday, and road game at Portland on Sunday.
