El Paso RF Stephen Douglas and CF Kory Drew combined for six RBIs as the Diablos dispatched of the Amarillo Sox 8-4. Douglas was 3-for-5 at the plate with a double, a run scored and three RBIs. Drew had one hit in three at-bats and collected three RBIs. Amarillo got off to a hot start when 2B Matthew Tucker hit a two-run homer in the first. The Diablos scored three runs in the fifth inning and four runs in the sixth to give them an 8-4 lead. El Paso 2B Albenis Machado had an RBI, and C Manuel Mejia hit a solo home run. Diablos starting pitcher Adam Rowe was credited with the win. The southpaw pitched six innings, allowed four runs and struck out six batters.
